ISPC at SIMPPAR 2024 in Grasse

The 17th SIMPPAR trade fair for raw materials used in perfumery was organized by the French Society of Perfumery (SFP), in Grasse for the first time on May 28 and 29, gathering 98 exhibitors from 20 countries. 

Prior to the SIMPPAR opening, the ISPC hosted its traditional “Perfumers’ cocktail” at the Musée International de la Parfumerie on Monday, May 27.

The board welcomed ISPC Perfumers and non members along with heads of local perfumers' associations.

The gathering also provided an opportunity to share our concerns about the future of Perfumery as our ingredients are under scrutiny and need to be defended. 

The mayor of Grasse, Jérôme Viaud spoke out in defence of natural raw materials in perfumery and showed his support. 

Following this event, our guests headed to the evening organised by Dsm-firmenich in honor of the city of Grasse.
